Hey there, it’s Stewart, postcard collector and sometimes dealer (apparently if you collect for long enough it’s inevitable.) After over a decade teaching Social Studies at the high school level, I felt it was time for a change. These days I work for a government technology software company as a product manager. I teach grown-ups now, and their parents don’t send me nearly as many emails.
I live in Ohio with my spouse and son, who likes helping me “sort” postcards.
I have been collecting postcards for over a decade now, and my collection is mostly made up of real photo postcards of human interest Americana - images of people going about their daily work and lives in the early 20th century. I’m passionate about history, photography and social history, and I also sell at shows a few times a year as a postcard dealer.
